  • 3 apples Granny Smith, peeled, cored and finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon ground
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg ground

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press evenly into a glass 13x9 baking pan lined with non-stick aluminum foil (if you don’t have non-stick foil, grease the foil with cooking spray). Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Then add eggs, 1 at a time until combined. Pour over warm crust.

  4. In a medium bowl, stir together chopped apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spoon evenly over cream cheese mixture.
  5. In another medium bowl, mix all of the streusel topping ingredients until thoroughly combined and crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle streusel topping over apples. Bake 40-45 minutes, or until filling is set. Let cool completely. Drizzle evenly with caramel topping. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat. Serve cold.
