About Janet and K.O.
In our travels, we search out quality local cuisine and taste the specialities of local chefs. We also peruse local grocery stores, specialty shops and farmers markets to find the secrets that home cooks use in their recipes. We bring our experiences, notes and photos home to craft our own recipes that are inspired by locals. Once our recipes are perfected, we share them with you to try in your own kitchen. We enjoy traveling, dining and cooking together. We take great joy in entertaining family and friends with our intriguing menus. We hope you enjoy them too.
Janet Welch is a 25-year corporate marketing communications veteran gone A.W.O.L. for the food and drink tourism industry. She is a published food tourism writer, blogger and cookbook author. She is also a contributing writer for the 2014 release of the Food Tourism Industry Handbook: “Have Fork Will Travel” published by the World Food Travel Association.
K.O. is passionate about the design behind great kitchens, recipes, dining and table presentations. She is an interior designer by trade and foodie at heart. K.O. makes themed meals a work of art for the eye and the tastebuds.
