Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. chicken wings, each separated at the joint, tips removed
- 3 tbsp. Tabasco
- 3 tbsp. lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp. Slap Ya Mama Spice Blend
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- Tabasco to taste

- Butcher the wings and place in a bowl with Tabasco, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Marinate covered in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours.
- Drain the liquid from the wings and dredge each in a mixture of flour, Slap Ya Mama, salt and pepper.
- In a heavy pot, heat the oil and place the wings in batches in the oil to fry. When browned on all sides, place on a rack on a sheet pan. Bake the wings at 325 degrees F for about 30 minutes.
- Just before serving, melt the butter and add the Tabasco sauce to your taste. Place in a large bowl, then add the cooked wings and coat with the buttery hot sauce. Serve immediately with Ranch-style dressing and celery sticks.
