  1. Pat the salmon filets dry and coat both sides with the blackening spice. Heat a cast iron skillet on high heat, add butter to melt and then place the salmon in the skillet. Cook the salmon quickly on high heat, 3 to 7 minutes on the first side (depending on thickness), then turn and blacken the second side. Remove and cover with foil to keep warm.
  2. Assemble the tacos by placing flaked pieces of salmon in a tortilla, top with cabbage and chipotle tartar sauce.
