Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter unsalted, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 8-10 oz. jar jam any variety
- 2/3 cup rolled oats and grain mix without fruit
- 1/4 cup almonds roasted, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the butter and sugar together in a mixer just until combined. With the mixer on low, add the vanilla.
- Sift the flour and salt together and with the mixer on low, slowly add to the butter mixture, until it is well combined.
- Pour the mixture onto a board and pat two thirds of the mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch square baking pan and about 1/2 inch up the sides.
- Spread with the jam, leaving a border of about a 1/2 inch around the edge.
- Mix the grains and almonds with the remaining dough with a fork and then sprinkle evenly over the top of the jam
- Bake for 45 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Cool completely and cut into bars.
