  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the diced onion for several minutes until tender and translucent. Cool. Soak the bread crumbs in milk for several minutes.
  2. Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix completely with your hands.
  3. Pan fry a small tester portion of the meat mixture to complete doneness. Taste and preseason.
  4. Roll meatballs into desired size and place on a sheet pan covered with plastic wrap. Cover the meatballs with more plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  5. Heat a skillet with a thin coat of cooking spray or olive oil and brown the meatballs on all sides. Once browned, add them to the Sunday Sauce pot and cook for at least 1 hour.
