Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 medium onion minced and crushed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 tbsp. parsley dried
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. beef ground
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper each, to taste

- Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the diced onion for several minutes until tender and translucent. Cool. Soak the bread crumbs in milk for several minutes.
- Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix completely with your hands.
- Pan fry a small tester portion of the meat mixture to complete doneness. Taste and preseason.
- Roll meatballs into desired size and place on a sheet pan covered with plastic wrap. Cover the meatballs with more plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Heat a skillet with a thin coat of cooking spray or olive oil and brown the meatballs on all sides. Once browned, add them to the Sunday Sauce pot and cook for at least 1 hour.
