Ingredients
- 1 lb. turkey ground
- 1/2 onion grated (use a typical cheese grater and grate into a bowl to capture the onion juice)
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 4 pieces pita bread
- 1/2 head Romaine lettuce
- 1 tomato sliced
- 1/2 red onion sliced
- 4 oz. cheese feta, crumbled into bite-size chunks
- 4 oz. Kalamata olives

Instructions
- Place the ground turkey in a mixing bowl. Add the grated onion, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix with the ground meat completely. Form 4 patties.
- Heat a gas or charcoal grill. Cook the patties to complete doneness. Just before the patties are cooked, place the Greek pitas on the grill to warm.
- Prepare the other ingredients on serving plates.
- Assemble the burgers with ample portions of each ingredient.
