Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a deep pan to 350 degrees F. Use a thermometer to monitor the proper heat. Adjust as necessary.
  2. Combine the dredging ingredients in a flat dish and mix completely.
  3. Combine the batter ingredients in a large bowl and mix completely.
  4. Cut the fish into individual serving pieces. Dredge first, then immerse in batter.
  5. Shake the excess batter and gently place the fish into the frying oil. Fry, turning gently, for about 7 minutes.
  6. For ease, cook frozen French fries to serve with the fish.
