The secret to our ahi tuna burgers is the Tangy Tartar Sauce. So simple, it dresses the fish with bright flavors and lets the fresh fish be the star. We like to cook ahi tuna steaks on high heat to sear the outside. Then slice it thin for the burger. You can also prepare or purchase fresh fish patties. If you are opting for fish patties, be sure to cook them through. Only fish steaks can be seared and served rare inside.
