Ingredients
RTF Cubano Sandwich
- 2 Bolillo rolls
- 4 slices ham deli-sliced
- 8 slices pork tenderloin, grill-roasted, sliced thin
- 2 slices cheese Havarti
- 1/4 cup creamy mustard relish

- 2 slices dill pickle
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. mustard
- 3 dashes Tabasco optional

RTF Cubano Sandwich
- Prepare the ingredients and stage to assemble the sandwiches.
- Cut rolls in half and place bottoms on a board. Stack ham, then roasted pork, and then cheese. Slather the cheese with creamy mustard relish and top with the bun.
- Heat an iron skillet on high and place the assembled sandwiches inside, then top with another iron skillet or heavy pot lid to press the sandwich down while heating for a few minutes. Flip to brown the sandwich top as well, again with the heavy lid to press. When the roll is toasted on both sides and the contents are slightly warm and melded, place on a board and cut in half. Serve immediately.
Creamy Mustard Relish
- In a small food processor, add the pickles and pulse to chop to relish consistency. Add the mayonnaise, mustard and Tabasco. Pulse until combined.
