[wpurp-searchable-recipe]K.O.’s New Pepper Steak – – beef (sirloin flap meat), vegetable oil, bell pepper (red or green, seeded, de-veined and sliced), onion (sliced), soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger (powdered), white sugar (granulated ), beef broth (mixed with ), corn starch, bean sprouts (loosely packed, washed), Heat outdoor BBQ and grill the steak tips to medium rare. Set aside and cool before slicing. Slice across the grain for ultimate tenderness. (This is an excellent use for leftover grilled steak or grill enough the night before for both meals.) ; Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy pot. Sauté the meat for 5 minutes, then add the bell pepper and onion. Saute for 5 minutes more. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger and sugar. Simmer on low for 10 minutes. ; Add the beef broth and corn starch mixture. Bring to boil, reduce to simmer. Add the bean sprouts and cook for 10 minutes more. - 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. ginger powdered
- 1/8 tsp. white sugar granulated
- 1 cup beef broth mixed with
- 2 tbsp. corn starch
- 2 cup bean sprouts loosely packed, washed
